THE UNIQUENESS WITHIN YOUR RHYTHM OF LIFE
Lockdown restrictions, implications, rules and repercussions
still has its “new car smell” (not a fair comparison but you get the picture) it is
raw and current and will take time for adjustment and reconfiguration. Dance rhythm
moves are the same. Adding in new steps
to your rhythm in your life requires rehearsal, reviewing, rehashing to determine
if the flow is correct or how much time and attention will this receive. For the rhythm to find a real flow, it requires
practice. There will be stumbling,
stubbing toes, exhaustion, irritation, thoughts of changing the moves and then changing
the moves, showing off the moves, delete those moves, and so the practice of one’s
unique life rhythm evolves.
From my experience, perspective and observation, each new shift
/ challenge / situation presents itself as a piece of a puzzle where you can
create, adjust and add a new unique rhythm to your life. I
don’t see life as a slice of normal at any
given time but more collective steps in the rhythm of life. Described as
the
dance of life, depending on how you engage and relate to the
circumstances, may increase or decrease the dance in pace or
style. Your life rhythm will definitely evolve over time, but
without a doubt will not lose sight of its individual unique rhythm.
During 2020Lockdown you do have some extra time; to shift
your mind from uncertainty to consider your certainty. Consider the following three elements pertaining
to your own unique rhythm of life, re-choreograph your steps and reclaim your
power by establishing some certainty.
-
What “dance steps”
would you like to remain (pre 2020Lockdown)
-
What “dance steps” would you like to omit as these moves may no longer enhanced or benefit your life post
2020Lockdown, and
-
Finally, what new “dance steps” would you like to include from the 2020Lockdown, thus far.
While contemplating these three elements you
are beginning to blend and develop a unique tailored choreographed rhythm for
2020, normal has nothing on you.
The
evolving rhythm called life
Life may cause You to stumble
Life may cause you to start in the back row
Life may cause you to tumble
And Initially you may not have a flow
Be gentle with yourself
And know that you are worthy
Your moves will become steadier
As you step into God’s grace and glory
A head’s up when facing changes along the way
Be prepared and know that the ride will be rough
But your resilience will override your dismay
And your unique rhythm reinforces that you are enough
