Hello kind souls
It is Sunday evening and I wanted to touch base with you. Did you manage to achieve what you had set out too, or did distractions get in the way?
For many, I can imagine that this week has been an emotional roller coaster ride. Firstly we were all waiting with baited breath to see what our President was going to reveal regarding which industries could or would begin functioning again. On Thursday the revealed was Level 3+. It is now, truly a blessing, that small local businesses can begin to function as part of the economy again. Those who have the ability financially, please support them so we can begin re-building our economy.
The reveal that I want to share is on the foundational philosophy of my book; which is to bring inspirational challenge to your thinking; my philosophy is that thinking is the creation of everything...
So let us start at the very beginning, a very good place to start (I am sure you are singing this in your mind, dear old Julie Andrews from the Sound of Music). Yes, thought is the beginning where we manifest and create. Our thought is our algorithm with which to approach and navigate our life. The difficulty and challenge with our algorithm is that it is susceptible to viruses and even though we have anti-virus software, sometimes our software is outdated.... this can cause strains of the old virus to find new doors and push old triggers. This can sometimes cause the whole system to require an update or a reboot, and even obtaining advice from an expert.
There are a number of ways to upload and eliminate this virus and for this evening, I want to reiterate what I shared on the video clip on Saturday afternoon. God has instructed us to take every thought captive. In this way of taking the thought captive, we can inspect the thought for viruses....
When the virus attacks the weak spots in the algorithm, the symptoms may manifest itself in the following.... racing thoughts, a mind that cannot be calm, doubt, peace and tranquility has left the building and it seems impossible to make a clear choice or decision... take a very deep breathe, pause and reflect on the verses below...
Philippians 4: 8-9
"8. And now dear brothers and sisters
one final thing,
Fix your thoughts on what is
true, honourable and right and pure
and lovely and admirable.
Think about these things that are
excellent and worthy of praise
9. Keep putting into practice all
you learned and received from me.
Everything you heard from me
and saw me doing.
Then the God of peace will be with you"
Please know you are courageous, amazing, you are loved, valued and worthy.
Have a blessed week ahead and please be kind to yourself, self care is critical.
Blessings and kindness
Robyn
